All students are offered the chance to study in Canada by the government, but in order to do so, you must first obtain a study permit visa and a temporary living visa (TRV).
Required documents
To apply for study abroad, you must:
A letter of acceptance is required from your previous school.
A current passport or other travel documents are required.
Documentation of a financial institution’s student is also required.
If funds have been moved to Canada, proof of a Canadian bank account in your name is needed.
A convertible currency deposited from a bank.
Statements from banks are needed.
A letter written to the individual or company that is financing you is needed.
Evidence that tuition and housing expenses have been paid.
Proof of Canadian-sourced financing is required if you have taken part in a Canadian-funded program or have a scholarship.
Making an Online Visa Application
You must utilize the official CIC website to submit your online application for a study visa. Up to three months before to the day you decide to visit Canada, you can submit an application. Recall that the date of your application fee to pay is also your application submitting date.
Fee for a Study Permit
You must submit CAD 150 for your visa if you are deciding to apply from outside of Canada.
English Language Proficiency Requirements
You will require providing proof of your English language skills in order to find your Canadian visa. This typically involves taking a secure English language exam to indicate your proficiency in correspondence and good communication.
