Is It Illegal to Have University Assignments Written by Someone Else?

I come across few of facebook groups where people offer to write assignments on behalf of university students. They charge student for the service. I think this would be illegal practice. Can someone please elaborate and guide what could happen to the student who gets his assignments written by others.

Off course it is illegal to hire someone to write your college or universities assignments. Some universities are are strict on plagiarism and using paid assignment writing services to get your assignments written. Do not ever think of using paid assignment writing services, you can be kicked out of the university and also being an international student you might loose your student visa.
